What are your Check in / Check out times?

What happens on our arrival?
Keys will be provided in a lockbox and arrival information will be sent out to you by email ahead of your stay. A full information brochure can be found in the house, explaining how to make the most of your stay, how to guides and things to do in the local area.

What do we have to do on our departure?
Please strip beds and place linens and laundry in the bags provided. We ask that you clean out the fridge, leave all crockery clean or in the dishwasher and hoover floors before your departure.

Are towels and bedding included?
Fresh towels and Bedding will be provided on your arrival. You may wish to bring additional towels if you’re visiting the beach or using the hot tub as we request that our towels remain at the house.

Do you provide a highchair or cot?
We have a high chair available on request, please let us know if it is required as part of your booking. We do not provide a cot and ask that you please bring your own for your stay.

Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we are happy for you to bring your furry friends along with you for a small additional fee. Please let us know on your booking enquiry. We have a maximum of 2 dogs per booking.

How do you use the hot tub?
This is an environmentally friendly fresh-water wood-fired hot tub. Full instructions will be available in the information brochure in the house. On arrival, the hot tub will be empty and we ask you to fill it with fresh water (no additives) and drain it before you leave on departure.

How do you use the wood-burner?
Instructions will be provided for use of the wood-burner in the information brochure. Logs will be provided. Use of the log burner is at your own discretion if staying with children. It is guests responsibility to watch children if they have lit the fire as it does get hot.

Is the house accessible by public transport?
A regular bus service runs throughout the day connecting Lamlash with all other island destinations. The bus timetable usually coincides with ferry arrival and departure but please check ahead of your journey. From ferry terminal in Brodick to Lamlash is roughly a 10 minute journey. The bus stop is approximately 100 yards from the house.

Where can I get groceries?
There is a co-op in Lamlash that is walking distance (5min) from the house. A larger co-op is available in Brodick with an additional smaller co-op also in Brodick. Little Rock Cafe in Brodick has an italian deli selection. There is also a cheese shop in Brodick (Earls Court). A butcher is located in Blackwaterfoot.
